Rookie Tackle (3rd Grade)
Rookie Tackle is the latest breakthrough in the development of youth football programs. Rookie Tackle was developed to bridge the gap between Flag Football and Tackle Football. The game takes the flag rules that children are acustomed to and modifies a few things to impliment tackle techniques.
Rookie Tackle is played on a smaller field and has fewer players on the field (8 vs 8). The smaller team size allows the coaches more one on one time to really focus on teaching players the fundamentals of football and how to safely tackle. Participants are required to wear full pads just like full field 11 man tackle.
